SOS Whidbey has a trained team of Peacekeepers to help with public safety and de-escalation.
Request peacekeepers for your event
We'd love to offer our peacekeeping support for your values-aligned community event! That works best if we receive your request at least 3 weeks in advance. Our capacity is limited by our volunteer pool so please add to it by encouraging your volunteers to attend the SOS peacekeeper training, when it is offered.

What we do
Peacekeepers work with event organizers to create plans for public safety. Teams of trained Peacekeepers are available for local gatherings, demonstrations, marches, and events. These teams help maintain a spirit of non-violence, defuse and de-escalate conflict, and facilitate safe crowd movement.
